West Ohio Community Action Partnership (WOCAP) is seeking a Co-Teacher/FSW at our Market Street 2 location. The position is 40 hours per week for 9 months per year, with responsibilities that include assisting the Teacher in implementing the curriculum, planning weekly lessons, and coordinating services for children and families.

The role requires maintaining health-related services and transportation support when needed.

Qualifications

• Must pass drug screen and background check.
• High School Diploma or GED; enroll in CDA program within two years to obtain CDA certification.
• CDA certifications must be maintained: Child Abuse & Neglect, CPR, and First-Aid.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and access to a privately-owned vehicle during working hours.

Responsabilités

• Assist the children & families by ensuring coordination, facilitation, identification, enrollment, and provision of individual services per standards and policies.
• Ensure health-related services by connecting to resources, providing follow-up support, transporting families when needed, and reporting difficulties with follow-up in 30 days.

WOCAP, a local non-profit organization, is seeking qualified candidates for a Co-Teacher/FSW based at our Market Street 2 location. This position is 40 hours per week, 9 months a year.

Responsibilities include:

• 1. Assist the Teacher in developing and educating each Child Development Services child to theirfullest potential by utilizing the latest curriculum.
• 2. Assist the Teacher with weekly lesson plans and daily planning.
• 3. Assist the children & families by ensuring coordination, facilitation, identification, enrollment, andprovision of individual services in accordance with Child Development Services PerformanceStandards, licensing regulations, and WOCAP policies & procedures.
• 4. Ensure that all children receive required health related services by connecting them to resources, providing follow-up support services and identifying and removing barriers to needed services. This includes expectations to transport families to appointments, report difficulties to supervisors in writing, and ensuring follow-up within 30 days.

Requirements include:

• MUST be able to pass drug screen and background check.
• Candidate must possess High School Diploma or GED. Current possession of CDA a plus. Must be willing to enroll in CDA program to obtain CDA certification within two years. Certifications in Child Abuse & Neglect, Communicable Disease, CPR, and First-Aid must be maintained.
• Valid Ohio driver's license, current vehicle insurance, and privately-owned vehicleduring working hours preferred. Ability to check electronic mail, entering data intoprogram-specific software for required reports, and Internet skills required.
