Job summary

Pike Engineering seeks a Project Manager II to provide project management systems and technical direction for electric substation, transmission, distribution and communications projects. You will be the single point of accountability for planning, execution and closeout, overseeing scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality.

Responsibilities include managing client relationships, risk control, change orders, subcontracts, reporting and ensuring profitability and cash flow.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in the utility industry.
• Proficient with PMBOK-based projects and scheduling tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, schedule, cost, safety and quality.
• Coordinate client and project stakeholder relationships.
• Develop estimates, proposals and change orders.
• Maintain project financials, invoices and SOX considerations.
• Lead project meetings and provide status reporting.
