Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Substation Trainer in Providence, RI, to deliver hands-on training programs for utility professionals. The role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline and 2+ years in Electric Utility operations for mid-level, with senior and lead paths based on experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline required.
2+ years Electric Utility experience for Specialist level.
5+ years Electric Utility experience for Senior level.
5-7 years Electric Utility experience for Lead level.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

Deliver technical training programs to clients using blended learning and hands-on activities.
Design, develop, and update procedures to support RIE equipment and processes.
Coordinate document reviews with Safety, Engineering Standards, Training and other groups.
Stay up-to-date on training developments and incorporate innovations into programs.
Support field operations to construct equipment mock-ups and simulations for training content.
