FirstEnergy Corp is seeking a coordinating testing and technical services professional for transmission and distribution substations. The role involves collaborating with Utility Operations, Construction & Design Services, and Transmission & Substation Services to ensure safety and reliability.

You will plan testing, manage resources, and ensure documentation meets FirstEnergy standards, with a focus on quality and timely project delivery across locations.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related technical field is required.
• In lieu of a degree, 3 years of experience in utility, commercial or industrial construction may be accepted.
• Experience in electrical substation construction and/or maintenance required.
• Proven teamwork and interpersonal skills to aid in compliance issue resolution.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and oversee contracted testing and technical service interests for transmission and distribution substation projects.
• Monitor safety, quality, and FirstEnergy specifications; ensure compliance across activities.
• Plan testing schedules and confirm resource needs to maintain appropriate staffing.
• Coordinate on-site testing activities with Construction Site Coordinator, Commissioning Engineer, and local FE personnel.
• Review testing records and ensure documentation is complete and uploaded to systems of record; close cascade orders.
