Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Apprenticeship preferred but not required.
• Valid Class A CDL and current medical examiner card.
• Candidates must pass criminal and MVR background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.
• Knowledge of electrical substation construction and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints or technical diagrams.
• Install and maintain wiring, control, and lighting systems.
• Lead and train workers to install, maintain, or repair substation structures and equipment.
• Inspect electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers.
• Identify electrical problems with testing devices and repair or replace wiring and fixtures.
