Job summary

WSP is seeking a Substation Structural Drafter in Lake Oswego, OR to support the Power Delivery Substation Civil/Structural Team. You will generate CADD designs, prepare plans and profiles, and coordinate with engineers to ensure high-quality deliverables.

The role requires extensive drafting experience, strong knowledge of drafting standards, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams while adhering to regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; 9+ years of post-education drafting experience.
• Ability to perform technical calculations using geometry and standards.
• Experience with structural drafting for electrical infrastructure is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical design and CADD support to engineers and PMs.
• Prepare drawings, reports, and material lists with high precision.
• Ensure designs meet codes, standards, and project specs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client contacts.
• Maintain quality control and document progress throughout projects.
