Dashiell, an operating unit of Quanta Services, seeks a Site Civil Engineer for our Madison, WI office. You will contribute to civil/site design for substation projects, prepare drawings and calculations, and support permitting and field coordination.

Under supervision, you will develop design documents, work with engineers and surveyors, and advance the Land Development Group's capabilities. EIT preferred; valid driver's license required; 60+ years of combined experience in energy projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of civil site design or related engineering experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar civil design software.
• Knowledge of local grading ordinances, stormwater regulations, and land use requirements.
• Ability to perform engineering calculations and prepare technical reports.

Responsabilités

• Prepare substation site layout plans, grading plans, erosion and sediment control plans, and drainage designs under supervision.
• Perform engineering calculations for stormwater management, earthwork, and site utilities.
• Develop construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Coordinate with geotechnical engineers and surveyors to incorporate field data into site designs.
• Assist in preparation and review of permit applications including land disturbance and stormwater.
