Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a QA/QC Engineer for substation projects in a flexible, employee-owned environment. You will perform QA/QC of substation design packages, including physical design and protection & controls, while collaborating with design teams to ensure quality and continuous improvement.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of related experience. PE license is preferred, and relocation is eligible. Competitive benefits and career growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Ability to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (background check, drug screen, etc.).
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.

• Perform QA/QC of substation design packages and protective relaying.
• Collaborate with the substation design team to ensure quality and standards.
• Lead technical guidance and review deliverables across projects.
