Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking a QA/QC engineer for substation projects in a hybrid environment. You will perform QA/QC on design packages and collaborate with the substation design team to ensure compliance with quality programs and client expectations.

The role emphasizes independence, mentoring, and contributing to continuous improvement while working within an ESOP-owned company culture and a broad portfolio of high-voltage projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Minimum 5 years related work experience.
• PE license is preferred.
• HV substation design experience.
• Strong knowledge of QA/QC processes.
• Proficient with Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform QA/QC of substation design packages.
• Provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Coordinate with internal/external team members on projects.
• Support continuous improvement and change management efforts.
