Coalesce Management Consulting is seeking a Protection & Control Engineer to design, analyze, and implement protection schemes for transmission and distribution substations, ensuring reliability, safety, and grid performance through proper relay coordination and control-system design.

You will perform studies with ETAP, ASPEN, CAPE and other tools, develop SCADA/RTU interfaces, support testing, commissioning, energization, and fault restoration, and maintain accurate documentation.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Protection & Control Engineering within utilities or industrial power systems.
• Strong understanding of protection principles and relay coordination.
• Hands-on experience with relay platforms (SEL, GE Multiline, Siemens).
• Familiarity with ETAP, ASPEN, CAPE or equivalent tools.
• Analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Mansioni

• Design protection schemes and relay settings for substations (12kV–345kV).
• Conduct relay coordination, short-circuit, arc flash, and power system studies.
• Develop AC/DC control schematics and substation automation.
• Integrate protection with SCADA/RTU and DNP3/IEC 61850.
• Support testing, energization, commissioning, and fault restoration.
• Analyze faults and drive root-cause investigations.
• Ensure designs comply with NERC standards and utility practices.
• Coordinate with engineers, PMs, contractors, and field teams.
• Maintain relay settings, drawings, and as-built records.
