Job summary

Global Business Ser. 4u is seeking a Protection and Control Engineer to independently plan and execute P&C packages for substations in the San Ramon area. You will lead designers, produce 2D drawings and 3D models, and ensure compliance with relay protection standards.

The role requires a PE license, ABET accredited EE degree, and 4+ years of utilities experience. Onsite responsibilities include field support and interfacing with clients and vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited university.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in electrical systems engineering for utilities or energy sectors.

Responsibilities

• Identify protection and control schemes for transmission and distribution substations.
• Select protection devices for equipment within a substation.
• Prepare scopes of work and cost estimates for substation design and evaluation.
• Create wiring diagrams, schematics, protection panels, and one-line/three-line diagrams.
• Interface with clients and vendors; mentor new engineers.
