Leidos in Orlando is seeking a Substation Protection & Control Engineer to design protection and control projects for electric utilities from 12kV to 500kV. You will apply digital logic and AC/DC concepts to deliver robust substation solutions.

This role offers a hybrid schedule with offices in Atlanta, Charlotte, Houston, or Orlando, plus in-person collaboration, ongoing training, and opportunities to lead and grow within large-scale power systems programs.

Qualifications

• Experience designing substation protection and control systems.
• Knowledge of protection and control concepts for transmission & distribution.
• Ability to design single-line diagrams, schematics, and wiring designs.

• Design substation protection and control projects for electric utilities from 12kV to 500kV.
• Prepare single-lines, schematics, and wiring designs for substations.
