Job summary

Entergy Services, LLC seeks a skilled leader to oversee Transmission and Distribution substation maintenance activities across the Mississippi area. You will direct a team of substation mechanics, relay specialists, and contractors to ensure safe, reliable operations and compliance with NERC/SERC.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance programs, coordinating outages, managing after-hours responses, and driving safety culture while preserving asset integrity and performance for critical

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent work experience.
• 6-8 years related work experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• Thorough knowledge of substation maintenance and construction practices.
• Experience with safety standards (OSHA, DOT) and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead teams and coordinate outages across multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Safety – lead safety culture and ensure safe work environment for all staff.
• Develop and supervise annual substation maintenance and diagnostic programs.
• Coordinate weather-related outages and after-hours response for storm events.
• Provide risk analysis and ensure adherence to O&M and SERC work plans.
• Ensure compliance with FERC/NERC/SERC procedures and maintenance policies.
• Lead training and development opportunities for staff.
