Qualifications

• At least 4 years working experience as a Substation Helper or equivalent in an industrial construction setting.
• Strong working knowledge of high voltage electrical and civil industry standards, electrical substation components, auto-level and transit for verifying finished grades, fabrication and placement of forms, and concrete finishing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, lay out, install, test, repair, or maintain high voltage substation wiring and related equipment in generating stations and substations according to plans and industry standards.
• Operate and supervise use of tools and equipment including cranes, excavators, lifts, and trucks in energized substations while following safety procedures.
