Job summary

Dashiell, a unit of Quanta Services, seeks a Structural Engineer to design high- and medium-voltage substations and transmission facilities in the Chicago area. You will collaborate with project leads, engineers, and vendors to deliver safe, reliable infrastructure.

Required: Civil Engineering degree, PE or licensure within one year, 3+ years in concrete and structural steel, and proficiency in RISA 3D, PLS-Tower or STAAD Pro. On-site in Lombard, IL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Licensed professional engineer or able to obtain licensure within one year.
• Direct experience in concrete and structural steel engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Create or modify civil and structural design documents for projects.
• Develop steel and foundation detail drawings and apply design software.
• Coordinate with customers, project team and management to ensure quality and schedules.
