Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking an experienced Foundation Technician-A to perform construction, maintenance and repair of substation equipment. The role requires climbing, working in confined spaces, and travel to multiple sites with occasional long hours during emergencies.

Ideal candidates will have a CDL, own hand tools and safety boots, and the ability to lead a crew while following strict safety standards. Expect high-voltage projects across various locations.

Qualifications

• Must perform rigorous physical labor and lift 50 lbs+.
• Capable of climbing and working at heights up to 125 feet.
• Possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Bring your own hand tools and safety boots.
• Willing to travel up to 90% and work overtime when needed.
• Follow company safety rules and demonstrate risk awareness.
• Lead/coaching abilities to guide crew on site.
• Experience with heavy equipment: bucket, derrick, backhoe, crane, forklift.
• Knowledge of substation layouts, foundations, grounding and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe construction, maintenance and repair of substation equipment.
• Lead and coach crew members on tasks and safety procedures.
• Maintain company vehicles and test equipment in good condition.
• Work with energized high-voltage systems with due care for safety.
• Read and interpret substation drawings and diagrams.
• Travel to various locations as required by customer demands.
