Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC is seeking a Foundation Equipment Operator to support foundation work for utility power infrastructure, including transmission towers and substations. You will operate drilling rigs and related equipment, ensuring safe, precise performance and adherence to site plans.

Qualifications include 2+ years of heavy equipment operation, a valid CDL Class A, ability to lift 50 lbs, and strong safety and teamwork focus. Widespread fieldwork with overtime and varied locations is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of experience operating heavy or specialized foundation equipment.
• Valid driver's license and CDL Class A.
• Knowledge of soil conditions and drilling techniques.
• Able to read and follow site plans and instructions.
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work overtime as needed.
• Must read and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs, augers, pile drivers, excavators and other foundation equipment to support construction.
• Perform excavation, drilling and soil stabilization for deep foundations and anchors.
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, including pre-operation checks.
• Maintain logs of equipment usage, hours and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with foreman and crew to sequence tasks and ensure efficient workflow.
