Job summary

Pike Electric, LLC seeks a Foundation Equipment Operator to support foundation construction for utility power infrastructure, including transmission towers, poles, and substations. You will operate drilling rigs, augers, pile drivers, excavators, and related equipment following engineering specs and safety standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2+ years of experience with foundation equipment, a valid CDL Class A, and the ability to work overtime and travel when needed.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy or specialized foundation equipment.
• Valid CDL – Class A.
• Ability to read and follow site plans.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs, augers, pile drivers, excavators, and other foundation-related equipment.
• Follow OSHA and company safety protocols, including pre-operation checks and safe operating procedures.
• Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of equipment (lubrication, fueling, cleaning).
• Collaborate with Foreman and crew to ensure proper sequencing of tasks and efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, hours, and maintenance activities.
