Ampirical is seeking a Relay Project Engineer to support EPC substation projects (MV through EHV) and act as the main interface between field and design engineering, ensuring adherence to Ampirical's designs and standards.

Ideal candidates hold a BSEE/ABET EE degree with PE preferred, plus 7+ years with PE or 9+ years without PE in the utility sector, and proven experience in protection and control systems for substations. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualificações

• ABET-accredited engineering degree or BSEE; PE preferred.
• 7+ years with PE license or 9+ years without PE in utility design and EPC.
• Experience in relay protection and control systems on substations (MV–EHV).

Responsabilidades

• Serve as main interface between field and design engineering for EPC projects.
• Review RFPs, assist in design package reviews and cost estimates.
• Support pre-construction design meetings with clients and subcontractors.
• Perform field job walks and ensure package quality and schedule alignment.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams; travel as needed.
