Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. seeks an Engineering Section Manager to lead substation engineering for power infrastructure projects.

You will supervise multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with design partners and suppliers, and ensure safe, accurate, and efficient delivery aligned with customer requirements and industry standards. The ideal candidate has strong leadership in power systems, deep substation expertise, and a track record of developing engineers while delivering

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or related field with 7+ years in power/energy projects.
• At least 3 years in engineering management or leadership.
• Strong knowledge of substation design, codes, and IEEE standards.
• Ability to read/approve complex electrical and mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee substation engineering projects and deliverables.
• Develop and manage engineering team performance and staffing.
• Ensure QA/QC of engineering outputs and processes.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and resource tracking.
• Collaborate with sales, customers, and global partners.
• Present technical information at meetings and industry events.
