Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking a Substation Engineering Intern in Spokane, WA. You will gain real-world experience on substations, distribution, and transmission projects, while engaging with engineers and leaders through mentoring programs.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, problem-solving, and teamwork in an employee-owned culture, with opportunities to participate in site visits and diverse tasks alongside project engineers and EITs.

• Work on a variety of projects and tasks with assistance from Project Engineers, Electrical EITs, or Technicians/Drafters as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.

In the role of Substation Engineering Intern, we'll count on you to:

Preferred Qualifications

• Prefer 3 years completed toward degree at an ABET accredited university with 3.0+ GPA
• Demonstrated knowledge of software packages related to field of study/industry Preference will be given to local candidates
