Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks an Electrical Project Engineer specializing in substations to lead design and coordination for multi-site HV projects. You will develop protection & control deliverables and BOMs, while coordinating with clients and vendors to ensure timely delivery.

Hybrid or flexible work options may be offered after a successful 90-day period; opportunities for travel to client sites and continued professional development are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering as a minimum qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and coordination for HV substation projects.
• Develop protection and control design deliverables and diagrams.
• Prepare electrical equipment specs and Bills of Materials (BOM).
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, subcontractors and other stakeholders.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Prepare and manage design budgets and schedules.
