Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation invites you to join as a Summer Intern in the Substation engineering area of the East Region. You will gain hands‑on experience on a range of projects addressing modern infrastructure challenges and contribute to design, analysis, and documentation efforts.

You will be assigned to a Substation functional area with mentorship, co/ lab trainings, and networking opportunities with industry experts, helping you grow technically and professionally.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ABET accredited Electrical Engineering program.
• No prior experience required.
• GPA 3.0 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of electrical engineering deliverables like reports, drawings, specifications, and studies.
• Assist with the engineering analyses, designs, and report production.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and schedule project deliverables.
• Organize and evaluate data, utilizing computer modeling to analyze systems.
• Organize project materials, references, and documentation.
