Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Graduate Engineer, Electrical - Substation (Central Region) to help address infrastructure challenges. You will be assigned to the Substation department and assist with design and analysis tasks under supervision.

As an entry-level engineer, you will learn design guides, contribute to drawings and calculations, and collaborate with project teams to meet client needs while following budgets and schedules. Hybrid work options available after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Previous internship experience preferred.
• Fundamental knowledge of power systems and design principles.

Responsibilities

• Develop familiarity with departmental design guides, standards, and procedures.
• Contribute to quality programs and continuous improvement efforts.
• Prepare basic engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports, and studies.
• Perform routine calculations and assist in data collection for engineering work.
• Ensure work complies with budgets, schedules and quality requirements.
• Coordinate information sharing with project teams and leadership.
