Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation invites a Structural Engineer (Substation) Summer Intern to contribute to critical infrastructure projects. Located in Denver (CO) or Tualatin (OR), you will work with engineers across disciplines, gaining hands-on experience and professional growth in a 100% ESOP-owned environment.

You will help develop design specs, perform analyses, and prepare calculations while organizing project materials, under supervision of senior engineers.

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Current enrollment in ABET accredited Civil Engineering program with emphasis in Structural Engineering.
• Preference in coursework with at least 1 design course.

Responsibilities

• Support development of design specifications and contract drawings.
• Perform tasks to support engineering analyses, report production, and designs.
• Prepare basic calculations.
• Analyze systems using computer modeling.
• Organize and file project materials and references.
