Job summary

Black & Veatch is seeking an Electrical Engineer Intern for the Substation group in the East Region. The role supports development of electrical deliverables, analyses, and cross-disciplinary collaboration on projects with hands-on learning in a leading engineering firm.

As a student intern, you’ll gain exposure to power systems, transformers, renewable energy, and design guides while contributing to real-world infrastructure projects in a full-time, office-based role.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in ABET-accredited Electrical Engineering program.
• GPA 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Relevant coursework in power systems and related areas preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing electrical engineering deliverables (reports, drawings, specs, studies).
• Assist with engineering analyses, designs, and report production.
• Collaborate with disciplines and schedule project deliverables.
