Black & Veatch seeks an entry-level Electrical Engineer to join the Substation team in the Central Region. You will contribute to a variety of projects addressing infrastructure needs and work within a defined area of the Substation department.

You will learn to apply engineering standards, perform routine analyses, and support budget, schedule and quality requirements in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited program.
• Ability to pass pre-employment checks (background, drug, etc.).
• Willingness to work in a hybrid environment after the initial period.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with and apply departmental design guides, standards and policies.
• Support quality programs and continuous improvement efforts.
• Assist in preparation of engineering deliverables such as drawings, reports and studies of limited scope.
