HDR is seeking a Substation Technical Specialist to perform engineering assignments under a licensed engineer. You will design and analyze electrical substations (Low, Medium and High Voltage) and prepare drawings, calculations, and design deliverables.

You will collaborate with CAD drafters and other engineering disciplines to meet project specs and safety codes. Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in Electrical Engineering (Power) and have 5+ years in power utility design, with strong

• Associate's degree in engineering or related field; 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and common engineering software.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hands-on experience with industry standards and design practices.

Responsibilities
