Job summary

Premier Power Maintenance is seeking a Construction Services Technician to execute mechanical and electrical tasks on substation equipment for power transmission, distribution, and generation. You will assemble, troubleshoot, repair, replace, and clean components while ensuring compliance with codes and company policies.

Role requires knowledge of substation construction, reading schematics, safe operation of bucket or digger trucks, and willingness to travel with overnight stays.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED. Military experience preferred but not required.
• Requires a minimum of 3 years’ experience in electrical substation construction.
• Completed Substation or Lineman Apprenticeship program is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing mechanical and electrical tasks on equipment in power transmission, distribution, and generation at client facilities.
• Read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams to install electrical apparatus per specifications.
• Perform substation construction tasks including power cable installation, circuit breaker installation, protective relay panel installation, and substation grounding.
