Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Construction Manager-Substation Projects for a 1-year W-2 contract in Juno Beach, FL. You will coordinate with engineers and contractors, enforce safety protocols, and ensure projects meet regulatory and industry standards.

You will lead construction activities, oversee QA/QC, and support commissioning through energization, with proficiency in MS Office and project software for document control.

Qualifications

• Vast knowledge of electrical schematics and related drawings.
• Thorough understanding of safety regulations and hazard mitigation.
• Experience leading construction projects and resolving conflicts.
• Familiar with concrete work and foundations.
• Coordinate with EPC to resolve RFIs and change orders.
• Material procurement and take-offs.

Responsibilities

• Work safely near energized equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Communicate with direct reports to enhance teamwork and report issues.
• Proficient with MS Office and substation construction software.
• Turnover and support commissioning through energization.
• Perform inspections, QA/QC audits, and ensure standards compliance.
• Maintain records of construction activities and safety inspections.
• Lead construction teams, monitor tasks, and resolve conflicts.
