Job summary

Energy Erectors, Inc. seeks a Substation Foreman to supervise field crews and support project managers on transmission line projects. The Foreman coordinates construction activities, ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence, and communicates progress to the team.

You will translate plans into on-site actions, manage resources, and lead meetings, with a focus on delivering within budget while maintaining EEI’s safety standards.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software, including Excel, Word, Outlook and internal operational systems.
• Ability to apply basic engineering principles to construction challenges.
• Ability to visualize the entire project and anticipate constructability issues and embed solutions in the construction plans and schedules.
• Must be able to schedule, monitor and forecast resources for optimum efficiency.
• Ability to manage others and many facets of the construction project and assume responsibility.
• Preferred: State Class A driver's license and/or commercial driver's License.
• Preferred: OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and execute the project plan to schedule and ensure compliance with budged.
• Supervise and coordinate all construction activities.
• Track and communicate weekly project report and generates 3 weeks look ahead.
• Ensure project materials and workmanship meets the project quality standards and design requirements.
• Initiate and conduct project meetings with staff assigned to the project and management if necessary.
• Review and address plan details, resolve issues before they result in added budget expenditures.
• Advise Superintendent of any potential problems, work interferences or schedule difficulties while assisting in circumventing/resolving such conflicts.
• Enforce site specific plans and procedures that are in line with EEI's culture and safety requirements.
• Review and submit weekly time sheets to payroll for processing.
• Maintain the project's daily job diary.
