Job summary
Electric Power Systems (EPS) is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical distribution and transmission substations for utility clients across North America. You will supervise startup personnel and collaborate with contractors, engineers, and operators to ensure safe, reliable energization and compliant test plans.
The role requires strong leadership, extensive HV testing experience, and a dedication to safety and quality in fast-paced project
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience in electrical equipment testing and inspection.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and quality.
- Experience coordinating testing and commissioning with teams and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate testing and commissioning of electrical distribution and transmission substations.
- Supervise startup personnel and contractor electricians.
- Develop work plans and oversee testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with standards and project requirements.
- Provide on-site technical support throughout project lifecycle.
