Pike Engineering is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to deliver civil-structural design and direction for substations within the electric utility sector. The role combines billable project work with project management support, including proposal development and cost estimating.

Qualifications include a B.S. in Civil Engineering, ABET accreditation, and 2–4 years of relevant experience. EIT strongly preferred with PE licensure goals within two years.

• Experience and expertise in identifying, analyzing, and resolving engineering, technical and design problems.
• Effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling, and monitoring of work activities.
• Thorough, timely, and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations, and sketches.
• Continuous improvement of job-related engineering, technical and professional knowledge, skills, process development, and performance.
• Should be able to understand and create substation civil-structural drawing packages using national codes and standards.

Aufgaben

• Provide civil-structural engineering support in power delivery and structural engineering.
• Interact with customers’ internal engineers and technical personnel daily.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Monitor deliverables, schedules, and present solutions to the client.
• Assist the Project Manager in proposals and contracts for civil-structural scope.
