Job summary

Pike Engineering is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to deliver civil-structural design and direction for transmission substation projects. The role combines billable technical work with project management support, cost estimating, and proposal input.

The candidate should have a Civil Engineering degree (ABET-accredited), 2–4 years in power delivery, and EIT certification (PE preferred). Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Engineering degree must be ABET-accredited.
• 2–4 years of Civil/Structural engineering experience in power delivery.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) strongly preferred; PE licensure pursued.

Responsibilities

• Provide civil-structural design and direction on complex engineering challenges for substation projects.
• Support project management, schedules, budgets, and client communications.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, drawings, and sketches.
• Interact with customers’ engineers and maintain professional relationships.
