GAS Energy Staffing LLC is seeking a Civil - Staff Engineering Technician – Substation in Ann Arbor, MI. The role supports engineering and design teams, using CAD, BIM, and 3D modeling to create and maintain drawings and deliverables for substation projects.

The candidate should have Civil 3D and MicroStation experience, at least 5 years of related work, and be onsite five days a week. Onsite work and rigorous documentation are integral components of the position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 5 years of related work experience.
• Civil 3D and MicroStation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Applies knowledge of standards, systems, document control, codes, and BV policies and procedures.
• Reviews design inputs for consistency and ensures compliance with codes and standards.
• Performs design calculations, material quantities and estimates, and records.
• Coordinates with design group personnel to review and exchange project information.
