Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Staff Civil Engineering Technician in Ann Arbor, MI to support the design and development of site plans and utilities for large-scale infrastructure projects. The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and the execution of civil engineering deliverables using Civil 3D and MicroStation.

Diploma or Certificate required.
Associates or Bachelors Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology preferred.

Responsibilities

Functions in a project engineering technician capacity.
Support engineering and design teams by developing and modifying technical deliverables.
Apply engineering principles to create moderately complex design concepts and deliverables.
Use CAD/BIM tools to create, modify, and maintain technical drawings and project outputs.
Provide technical guidance to other professionals to ensure quality and consistency.
Review inputs and ensure deliverables comply with codes and BV standards.
Participate in project planning, scheduling and documentation control.
