Job summary

Sargent & Lundy offers a hybrid role in Puerto Rico where you will spend three days a week in the office and two days remotely. You will develop drafting skills within a multidisciplinary team, producing design drawings based on input data and expanding your use of AutoCAD 3D and MicroStation.

You will receive hands-on training in the firm’s proprietary design databases, participate in scaled master sketches, and accompany senior designers on client walkdowns to gather information for your

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience.
• Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation).
• Ability to visualize Equipment Details, Phase to Ground and Phase to Phase Clearances.
• Ability to multi-task from project to project.
• Must be bilingual in Spanish and English (speak, read, and write).

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting and preparation of design drawings from input data.
• Create master sketches to scale showing installation relations and exact specs.
• Accompany experienced designers on site walkdowns to gather information.
• Explain drawings to vendors and contractors for adjustments.
