Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks a motivated individual to join our Raleigh, NC office as a drafter or designer.

Under supervision you will support engineering and drafting projects, developing sub-professional knowledge while performing assignments under a project engineer or manager. Responsibilities include drafting general arrangements, electrical schematics, and wiring diagrams using MicroStation/AutoCAD; collaborating with a team to meet schedules; and applying your MicroStation 3D

Qualifications

• College degree or two-year CAD certificate or two years of CAD experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation required; strong drafting skills.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Perform drafting work manually or with CAD software.
• Follow ECI drafting standards using symbols, legends, and layers.
• Design substations in MicroStation/AutoCAD and draft schematics.
• Collaborate with project teams to meet client schedules.
• Utilize MicroStation 3D and Civil for grading plans when applicable.
