Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks a motivated drafter or designer to join our Raleigh, NC office, supporting engineering and drafting projects under supervision using CAD tools to develop sub-professional work.

You will draft general arrangements, site plans, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and substations with Microstation/AutoCAD; a college degree or CAD certificate and relevant experience are required. Occasional travel may be needed; ECI is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

Qualifications

• College degree in CAD/design or two-year CAD certificate.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation/Bentley Connect is required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Draft general arrangements, structures, site plans, and facility layouts.
• Draft substation schematics and wiring diagrams in MicroStation/AutoCAD.
• Work as part of a team to meet client schedules.
• Apply Microstation 3D and Civil for grading plans where required.
