Job summary

Electrical Consultants, Inc. (ECI) seeks a motivated individual to join its Chesterfield, MO office as a drafter or designer. Under supervision you will develop sub-professional drafting knowledge while supporting engineering projects using CAD tools.

You will produce general arrangements, structures, site plans, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and revisions of CAD files. The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and the ability to work both independently and with a team.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: College degree in an acceptable curriculum or two-year technical certificate in computer-aided drafting/design.
• Experience with AutoCAD and MicroStation/Bentley Connect is a plus.
• Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and be able to work independently or on a team.

Responsibilities

• Draft general arrangements, structures, sites, facility layouts, and electrical schematics.
• Prepare as-built drawings from red-line copies and revisions of CAD files.
• Follow ECI drafting standards and use symbols, legends, and layering correctly.
• Perform drafting tasks manually or with CAD software and assist with related duties.
