Job summary

Altitude Energy LLC in Denver is seeking a Substation Apprentice to begin a hands-on career in field construction. This role supports the Substation division, travels as required, and reports to the Foreman; you will learn to read drawings, follow project documents, and perform essential tasks under supervision.

Ideal candidates bring a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license with clean MVR, and completion of a Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship program.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program completed.
• CPR and First Aid certified or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR; Class A CDL preferred or obtainable within six months.

Responsibilities

• Performs duties assigned by supervisor.
• Attend quarterly apprenticeship training in person.
• Attend monthly safety and apprenticeship Teams calls.
• Track apprenticeship hours accurately and timely.
• Read and follow contract documents/drawings.
