Job summary

Altitude Energy LLC is seeking an Apprentice Lineman to join our field team as part of a structured apprenticeship in transmission, distribution, and substation construction. Reports to the Foreman and participates in in-person training and safety programs.

You will work with crews to develop hands-on skills, adhere to project specifications, and uphold Altitude’s core values while contributing to community‑oriented power infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent.
• Completed a certified Journeyman Lineman Apprenticeship Program.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR; Class A CDL preferred or obtainable within six months of hire.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Performs all duties assigned by supervisor.
• Attend quarterly apprenticeship training in person.
• Attend monthly safety and apprenticeship Teams calls.
• Track apprenticeship hours timely and accurately.
• Read and follow contract documents/drawings; ensure work meets contract requirements.
• Responsible for producing quality work.
• Understand and comply with Company Policies and Operating Procedures.
• Collaborate with coworkers, customers, engineers, and sub-contractors professionally.
• Elevate concerns with safety or project to supervisor.
