Qualifications

• A degree from an accredited school preferred.
• A minimum of one-year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to mentor students.

Responsibilities

• Develops and facilitates the Center’s alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program.
• Educates and counsels students to reduce and prevent drug-related separations from the program.
• Develops individualized case management plans to enhance student retention and success.
• Administers Center’s drug testing program to promote a drug-free environment.
• Provides substance abuse counseling and education to students individually and in groups.
• Mentors and supports students throughout enrollment and completion of the program.
• Collaborates with staff to deliver high-quality programs and services.
