ADAMS AND ASSOCIATES INC is seeking a part-time program professional to develop and facilitate the Centers alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program for students in Phoenix, AZ. The role includes counseling, case management, and coordination of community resources to promote student retention and success.

The position requires at least a 4-year degree, one year of related counseling experience, and an active license or certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Prevention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum one year of experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field.
• Valid, active, unrestricted in-state license or certification in Substance Abuse Counseling/Prevention required.

Responsibilities

• Follows integrity guidelines and preserves data accuracy.
• Develops and coordinates alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention activities.
• Coordinates community resources for education on substance use and abuse.
• Administers drug testing to promote a drug-free environment.
• Provides individualized case management to support student progress and retention.
• Counsels students individually and in groups on substance abuse.
