Job summary

ADAMS AND ASSOCIATES INC is seeking a part-time position in Sacramento to develop and facilitate the Center's alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program. Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification.
• Minimum of one-year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field preferred.
• Degree from an accredited school preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and facilitates alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention activities and integrates services into Center's programmatic functions.
• Counsels students individually and in groups on substance abuse.
• Develops and coordinates community resources for educating students on substance use and abuse.
• Administers Center's drug testing program to promote a drug-free environment.
• Provides substance abuse counseling and education to support student progress and retention.
• Mentors and supports students to ensure completion of the program.
