Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. is seeking a dedicated professional to develop and facilitate the Center’s alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program.

You will educate and counsel students to reduce drug-related separations from the program and coordinate individualized case management to support retention and success. The role emphasizes confidentiality, HIPAA compliance, and collaboration with staff to provide quality services.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted substance abuse license or certification that meets state requirements.
• A degree from an accredited school preferred.
• A minimum of one-year experience in drug/alcohol counseling or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and facilitates the Center’s alcohol, drug and tobacco prevention program.
• Educates and counsels students to reduce and prevent drug-related separations from the program.
• Develops individualized case management plans to enhance student retention and success.
• Administers Center’s drug testing program to promote a drug-free environment.
• Provides students with comprehensive and individualized case management ensuring progress, retention and completion.
• Mentors, monitors and models Career Success Standards as required by PRH.
• Exchanges ideas and information clearly and contributes to group efforts.
• Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure effective supervision and services are provided to students.
