Job summary

West Central District Health Department and Community Connections are seeking a SAPS Coordinator/Health Promotion Program Coordinator to lead community substance use prevention efforts in Lincoln County. The role combines coalition work and health promotion with overdose prevention responsibilities.

You will facilitate meetings, build partnerships across schools, healthcare, law enforcement, and local nonprofits, and translate data into actions to improve community health.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 1+ year in prevention, public health, or community engagement.
• Knowledge of Lincoln County/local resources is a plus.
• Experience coordinating coalitions or multidisciplinary teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the SAPS Coalition and lead prevention system efforts.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate prevention activities and campaigns.
• Support overdose prevention activities and grant-funded initiatives.
• Build partnerships with schools, healthcare, law enforcement, and community orgs.
• Collect and analyze data to guide strategies and report to funders.
