Job summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is hiring a Substance Use Disorder Professional or Trainee for the Adolescent Clinic in White Center, WA. The role focuses on one-to-one and group counseling, intake assessments, and coordinated care across services for adolescents battling chemical dependency and related mental health issues.

Supervision toward licensure is provided; a strong emphasis on integrated care and client-centered services is required.

Qualifications

• For Trainee: completed all classes required to become a Substance Use Disorder Professional and practicum hours.
• For Professional: possess an active SUDP license from the Washington State Department of Health and required certificate.
• Must have at least three years’ relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate screening and evaluation; refer to other programs as needed.
• Offer individual and group counseling for clients with chemical dependency and emerging mental health issues.
• Maintain compliant records and monthly reports to Program Manager.
• Follow facility policies and state/federal regulations; maintain WAC/RCW knowledge.
• Prepare progress reports and notifications for courts, probation, and referral sources.
