Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Elizabeth City, NC seeks a Substance Use Specialist (CADC or LCAS-A) to provide screening, assessment, treatment planning, IOP coverage, and group therapy in our outpatient clinic. This role supports adults and youth, collaborates with clinical teams, and documents care under supervision.

Qualifications

• CADC is required; LCAS-A provisional licensure preferred.
• 2 years of experience in Substance Use services.
• Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.

Responsibilities

• Provide screening, assessment, and treatment planning for adults and children with substance use needs.
• Facilitate group therapy and coordinate with clinical teams and referral sources.
• Document accurately and support aftercare planning and community referrals.
