Job summary

Crossroads is looking for a dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to provide individual counseling and clinical assessments to patients with opioid use disorder at our Abingdon clinic. You will manage a targeted caseload and collaborate with our clinical team to deliver holistic treatment. This role is essential in helping patients start their recovery process.

Qualifications

• Experience working with underserved populations in a clinical setting.
• Lived addiction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual counseling to highly complex patients.
• Conduct clinical assessments to assess patient treatment needs.
• Design and update patient's treatment plans including care coordination.
• Manage assigned caseload and comply with treatment requirements.
• Collaborate with nurses and providers for holistic care.
• Facilitate urine drug screening for patients.
